Emily is a former elementary school music teacher and award-winning songwriter. She creates literature-inspired music for children, cultivating an appreciation and love for singing, songwriting, literature, and art. She performs storytimes of her original music regularly in Los Angeles at Once Upon A Time Bookstore and Children’s Book World. She loves bringing joy to her community through beautiful music.

Emily talked and sang with Tracy Ferguson’s second graders at Van Meter Community School in Van Meter, Iowa.
